DILI, www.news-viptv.com – The Government of Timor-Leste through a meeting of the Council of Ministers has aproved the Air Services Cooperation Agreement between Timor-Leste with Singapore and Indonesia.
In a council of ministers decision, the government authorized the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste, Adaljiza Magno, to sign both agreements.
“The principal objective of this agreement is to ensure the realization of regular commercial flights between Timor-Leste, Indonesia and Singapore, in order to promote development in the economic, commercial and tourism sectors of the three countries,” a press release issued by the government.
Recently, Minister Adaljiza Magno signed a similar agreement with the Cambodian Government while accompanying President Jose Ramos Horta’s state visit.
Previously, Timor-Leste had also agreed to enter into a cooperation agreement in the field of aviation with Brunei Darussalam a few months ago.
